Invitation for submission of applications for Research and Teaching Assistants in the School of Translation Studies and Training, IGNOU, New Delhi.
The School of Translation Studies and Training (SOTST) invites applications for Research and Teaching Assistants (RTAs) under the Research and Teaching Assistantship Scheme for undertaking Research and Teaching in Translation Studies and related areas.
Candidates from Translation Studies, Literature, Culture Studies, Linguistics and allied disciplines with proven comptences in Translation are eligible to apply. Master/M.Phil degree holders having consistently good academic record with minimum 55% marks (at master degree level or an equivalent grade B+ in Master’s degree (50 percent marks or an equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/PH category) may apply in the prescribed application attached herewith. The age limit shall be 25 years as on 1st January, 2001 relaxable by 5 years for women candidates and SC/ST/PH. Candiates will have to appear for an interview for selection. Each selected RTA shall be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 14000/- plus HRA (pre-revised fellowship).
